GLOSSARY

EU AI Act

The EU AI Act is the European regulation that sorts AI systems by risk and attaches duties, including documentation and oversight, to higher-risk uses.

What does Leapfrog AI publish about the Act?

The public SA2 page at /sa2 describes a four-step assessment: system inventory and risk tiers, gap analysis against the duties the page names as Articles 9–15, a remediation roadmap, and implementation support. It also states that GDPR and the AI Act should be handled together.

That page is the firm’s framework description. It is not a legal opinion, and this glossary does not assign a risk tier to your systems.

Where does an AI Audit fit?

An AI Audit (€3,000, one week) ranks operational opportunities and produces a roadmap. If compliance scope is part of the agreed processes, the roadmap can point at the SA2 steps. The audit price does not include a full conformity assessment unless that scope is written into the engagement.

German readers can start at /de/ki-audit. The contact path for the audit is /contact.

Common questions

Is the SA2 page a legal determination?

The /sa2 page describes Leapfrog AI’s assessment steps: inventory, gap analysis, remediation plan, and implementation support. It is not a regulator’s decision and it does not assign your risk tier on this glossary page.

Can the AI Audit include AI Act questions?

The AI Audit costs €3,000 for one week and covers the processes you agree. AI Act documentation can be part of that conversation. A full conformity program is scoped separately from the published audit price.
