Hosting and server logs

Vercel Inc. (USA) hosts this website. Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) sits in front of lfg-ai.com and umami.lfg-ai.com as a network and security proxy. When you open a page, both process your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request, and your browser’s user agent. We need this data to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website).

Analytics

Umami: we measure how the site is used with Umami, which runs on our subdomain umami.lfg-ai.com and loads through lfg-ai.com/_lfg. Umami records page views, clicks, scroll depth, sections viewed, time on page, referrer and campaign parameters, visit count, timezone, device type, screen size, and page performance. Umami stores nothing on your device unless you accept analytics cookies. With your consent, it stores a random visitor ID in local storage and a session value in session storage, and loads a recorder for session replays and heatmaps, which can capture clicks, mouse movements, and scrolling. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used); for storage on your device and the recorder, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, the site loads Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics 4. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, processes your IP address, device data, and usage data, and can set cookies. Data can be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with “Cookies” at the bottom of every page.

Chat assistant

If you use the chat on this site, we process your messages to answer them. An AI model on Cloudflare Workers AI, a service of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), writes the replies. We store each conversation in private storage at Vercel, together with the page path and the Umami visitor and session IDs, so that we can follow up and improve the answers. If you book a call in the chat, the stored conversation also contains the name and email address you give. Do not enter sensitive data in the chat. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for requests before a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Booking a call

Booking buttons open Cal.com, a scheduling service of Cal.com, Inc. (USA). The chat can also book a time through Cal.com. Cal.com processes your name, your email address, and the time you choose. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Email

If you email us, we use your email address and your message to reply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for project requests, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Company logos

Some pages load company logos from logo.dev. When your browser loads them, it sends your IP address to logo.dev. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Settings in your browser

The site saves your language choice and your cookie choice in local storage, and whether you already saw the intro animation in session storage. These entries stay in your browser.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires us to keep it.

Transfers to the USA

Vercel, Google, Cloudflare, and Cal.com are based in the USA, so your data can be transferred there. Ask us at [email protected] for details of the safeguards for these transfers.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), to correct it (Art. 16), to have it erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
